May 15 - 2009

Today we were sent to the instrument class because we haven't get our instrument class for quiete long.In my guitar instrument class Sir John taught us some songs that can developed and progress our skills in playing guitar and playing more songs with guitar.The next session we all go to the theory session,there we saw a video on a six year old girl who can play piano so well!She can played Mozart and so much more difficult songs with the piano.She was very talented and she was interested in playing piano since she was a little.She composed a song for her piano teacher,she made a song herself,and that song was really good! Here I learn something.A siz year old girl can developed her skills very well on something she likes becuase she do it with her heart and keep focusing,I hope I can do the same thing to evaluate,develop, and make progressions for myself to get something good in the future!

May 13 - 2009

Today I did the inversions of C,G,D,A,F,and E notes Quiz.I can do it well today because I already learned it,I hope I get a good mark in this wuiz.The next session after the 15 minutes quiz was used for me and my friends to practice the group performance of I'm yours by Jason Mraz that we will use to perform in front of the grade assembly of grade 10 on Wednesday

Today I practice the inversions in the notes of C, G, D, and A.The next session we will have a quiz based on this topic.I still made some mistakes because I forgot to put the sharps on the scales of G,D, and A.I hope I can learn more,evaluate the mistakes I made and make progressions.

Today the 10 E class which is my class did the solo performance.My group choose the song I'm Yours By Jason Mraz.I think I'm doing well on the performance today,once again I try to developed my skill in playing guitar in front of people and cooperate with my friends which play other instruments or vocal.I hope today I made progressions.

Today 10 E class ( my class ) did the solo performance assesement ( either vocal or instrument ).Today I improved my skill on performing and playing guitar,also performing in front of people.Today I did well on this.

Today we discussed about Live Jazz Performance.Now I know what it is like and how hard it is.Jazz is a smart music which where smart people play it.The instruments from jazz are piano,saxophone,double bass,which can make the music so special with it's special beats.I hope I can learn more about jazz music,especially how to play it.Today's class makes me want to take piano lesson and learn jazz by the way. :)

In term 3 I've learned to used Kodalih Hand Signs to show the notes scales from C to the higher C notes.For me it was really fun.I also learned about C major scales and the other major scales notes,harmonic scales,natural scale,and minor scales.In this term I learned a lot about Jazz.Jazz famous songs,composer,singers,it's types,it's history and so much more!I learnes to sing Jazz songs and play Jazz song in my guitar instrument(Fly Me To The Moon)We also learn to observe live jazz performance to upgrade our knowledge in Jazz in a fun way.Over all I think music class really gives me important knowledge,lessons and informations that I could use for my future,and make progressions and evaluation with.

Today we watched Chick Corea performance in the video played in the theory session.This was ment to make us know more about Jazz performing.As usual the next instrument session was used to practice playing Fly Me To The Moon in guitar to make progressions and to make us play even better.I hope I could make progressions today,in knowledge and skills.

Today in the music sessions was used to do the solo performance in singing Fly Me To The Moon song which was one of the practical assessement we have to do in the semester.I think I'm doing quite well in singing,I got the correct notes to hit and the lyrics too.I hope I made progressions today and can evaluate myself.

February 26 - 2009

I had an assessment today about Jazz and scales,minor harmonic,natural,major scales and so much more.Pretty much I'm not doing well in the assessment,I couldn't understand the scales though I've learned it for so many times.I was really disappointed in myself and I intend to learn more until I really understand about those scales to write.The time left was used for instrument session(guitar) and learn to play Fly Me To The Moon with guitar to make us play it even better for the upcoming assessment in solo performing with our own chosen instrument.i hope today I could evaluate myself in understanding the scales and playing the song with the guitar and make progressions.

Today I learned about the scales that asked out in the assessment from the last lesson,and the teacher discussed it and showed the process to the right answer.In the next instrument session I played Fly Me To The Moon in guitar to make my skill even better and to make me perform my best in the upcoming solo performing test.I hope I made progressions today and understand and evaluate the lessons I learned.

Today we learned about the Jazz Genre in Music.It was fun because now I know more about Jazz and my knowledge in Jazz upgrades.Now I know the famous jazz composers,singers,songs,also the types of Jazz and it's history.The next guitar instrument session was used to played Fly Me To The Moon with guitar to make us even better in playing it and make progressions.I hope I could remember all the things I've learned today,evaluate myself and make progressions.

Today in the music theory session we learned about the song Fly Me To The Moon the notes and the way to sing it to refresh our memory again and the next guitar instrument session was used to learn more to play the song Fly Me To The Moon to make us play it even better.I hope today I made progressions in playing the guitar.

Today in the music theory session we made an outline for the Individual Jazz Report.We all had decided what content would be in the report which makes it easier to make it.The next guitar instrument class was used to learn playing Fly Me To The Moon with guitar.I really hope I could learn something new and not just learn but also remember it and make progressions.I hope that every class I could evaluate myself and always make progression in every subject I learn.

Today the teacher told us about respect in the music theory session,and we were allowed to asked some questions about the Individual Jazz Report.The next guitar instrument session was used to learn about scales in C and G notes.I really hope I could make progressions in everything I learn today,and I hope I can show respects to the people even more.

Today in the music theory session the teacher discussed about the new task we have to do which was an Individual Jazz Report.We have to make minimal 15-20 pages in the report including the Cover Page and Bibliography,but not including the Table Of Content.Shortly today in the music theory session we learned about our learning plan for the semester.In the music instrument session Sir John taught us some new songs with different chords to strength our skills in playing guitar with chords.I really hope that I could make a good report based on the criteria asked by the teachers and make even more progression for my skill in playing chords with the guitar.

Today in the music theory session the teacher gave us two new songs to learn which are: Fly Me To The Moon and Autumn Leaves.They're both jazz songs,which is the same topic that our class was discussing these days.After learning to sing it,I found out I like Fly Me To The Moon more.In the music instrument session Sir John taught us to play some songs with different chords and it was really fun and useful.I really hope I can sing the songs taught well in the right Jazzy way and show more progressions in my skill in playing guitar.

Today in the music theory session we all learned about the major scales.The next session which is guitar instrument class was used to learned to play C minor and C major scales with the guitar.I really hope I could understand and know more how to write notes in major scales and play it on my guitar well.

Today in the music theory session we discuss and learn more about The Kodalih Hand Sign to make sure that we really knows how to show them right and remember them right.The next instrument session I have,which is guitar,discussed about the simple chord progression to play with the guitar.Today I hope I could always focus on the lessons given by the teachers,and remember them as my step to make progressions in my knowledge.

Today in music theory session we learned about The Kodalih Hand Sign to symbolize notes ( Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do),and in my instrument session(which is guitar)we learned to play many chords.In the lesson today,I really hope I could focus to remember and shows Kodalih Hand Sign and play with many chords with my guitar.
